Like a lot of people in Los Angeles, I’m from somewhere else.
Long story short: drove out to the West Coast for the sunshine; worked for newspapers and magazines; went back to school to study design at Art Center (loved it––someone once said it was like medical school, but without the blood); graduated. Today I work for the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center as a writer, editor, graphic designer and content creator. A little video editing. Social media? That too sometimes.
Extensive experience in a wide range of editorial positions, and I’m a sharp and informed observer of branding and advertising, media, business, health, entertainment, popular culture, architecture, food, travel and politics.
